A YouTuber Is Falsely Claiming That Toothpaste Made Her Boobs Grow

I’m all here for a good DIY or new hack, but sometimes they get too out of hand are completely unrealistic. Currently, a YouTuber’s newest false hack is rubbing toothpaste on your breasts to tighten and enlarge them.

According to Metro UK, YouTuber Naturalbeauty556 uploaded a video titled, “Tighten Sagging Breasts in Just 5 Days Using Toothpaste – No Joke.” In the video, it suggests that a mixture of toothpaste, plain flour, egg whites and grated cucumber will “tighten up your breasts like really, really, crazy.”

Other videos have mocked this toothpaste hack. Unlike the original, this one has a disclaimer at the beginning. It says that the information in the video “should not be considered as professional advice” and to consult a doctor beforehand. It also says that the knowledge is this video is based on personal experiences and may not be suitable for everyone.

The original video has almost 240,000 views. That is nothing compared to the channel’s other video, “Tighten Sagging Breast At Home In Just 4 Days Using Carrots,” which has well over 1.3 million views.

Teen Vogue talked to Dr. Susan Bard, MD, of Manhattan Dermatology Specialists about these videos. “This is preposterous,” Dr. Bard told Teen Vogue. “None of the ingredients in these concoctions have the capacity to increase breast tissue or tighten loose skin.”

“Applying these mixtures are not without risk as they can cause contact dermatitis,” she added.

Metro UK talked to Christopher INglefild, medical direction of the London Bridge Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Clinic, about the YouTube videos. “This bizarre advice simply preys on the many women who are unhappy with the size of their breasts and who might resort to bizarre ‘miracle fixes’ to find a solution to their problem,” he stated.

“Your breasts may end up smelling minty fresh, but it’s highly unlikely there will be any growth.”

One beauty blogger, MakeupMesha, tried one of the crazy unrealistic boob challenges and concluded that it’s fake.

Don’t try everything you see on YouTube. And in general boobs are supposed to be different sizes and sag, it’s natural.
