Laura Lee is a popular YouTuber vlogger who is recently come under fire for some racist tweets that have come to light. The 29-year-old is from Alabama and was working as a medical assistant before she turned her attention to YouTube.
Lee has been vlogging for five years and sharing her beauty tips and looks with the world. Currently, Lee has 4.5 million followers and her most watched video has over 14 million views. The video is about back to school hairstyles that don’t require any heat.
The beauty vlogger has collaborated with Too Faced, Violet Voss, MAC Cosmetics and Benefit Cosmetics. In 2017 Lee dropped her own makeup brand Laura Lee Los Angeles. She’s so far dropped two eyeshadow palettes, three liquid lipsticks and an eyeliner.
Lee has been dropped from all of her sponsors in response to a racist tweet of her’s from 2012 was discovered.
When she was almost 24-years-old Lee tweeted in response to someone, “tip for all black people if you pull ur pants up you can run from the police faster.. #yourwelcome”
She addressed the situation with a lengthy Notes app apology that she tweeted out. She eventually posted an apology video on her YouTube that is being criticized for not being sincere.
Since the tweet, Ulta Beauty, Boxycharm, Diff Eyewear and Morphe Brushes have cut ties with the beauty guru.

Since Lee has been in the spotlight she’s been a taken woman. Lee is married to Tyler Williams. The first time he appeared on her channel was July 2015. The couple met in high school when they were sophomores. She was out of lunch money and asked him randomly to cover her, they weren’t even friends. Then the two started talking senior year.
They have been together since February 2008 and have been together for over a decade now.

They both grew up in Alabama but now they couple live in California. They moved to California for their jobs. Williams needed to relocate and they chose to live in Los Angeles to also help her channel.
