The Voice is back and we’re in for a surprising season. One of the first surprises was the announcement of a new round called the “Comeback Stage” during the “Blind Auditions” last night. However, you will have to follow the series on YouTube, The Voice Official App, IGTV (Instagram), Facebook or NBC.com. This stage will involve mentoring from country-pop singer/songwriter, Kelsea Ballerini. Six lucky contestants that didn’t make it through the blind auditions will get to compete in a series of battle rounds. Finally, one will get to choose a team and continue on in the competition.
This round puts a relief on all our frustrations from watching those few singers leave who are inches away from getting a chair turn. Sometimes, the judges do turn, but they can’t compete! Adam Levine used the first block of the season on Jennifer Hudson. It’s all fun and games until someone gets blocked. The fun is just getting started.
Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s episode.
