Pete Davidson Deletes Instagram After Rumored Split With Ariana Grande

On Sunday, October 14, TMZ broke the news that apparently Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande broke up. The couple began dating and soon after got engaged. Their surprise engagement was announced in June and last for roughly five months. Davidson proposed with a three-karat $93,000 pear-shaped diamond ring.

The couple was last seen out on October 10, but one of Davidson’s Grande inspired tattoos were covered up. Was this an early sign of their breakup? Probably.

Grande or Davidson has yet to confirm or deny that they’ve broken up.

Instead of speaking out about their breakup, Davidson deleted his Instagram. He deleted his Instagram earlier this year after getting engaged to Grande. After facing criticism from Grande’s fans he decided to deactivate his Instagram and posted on his story why.

“No there’s nothing wrong. No nothing happened. No there’s nothing cryptic about anything,” he wrote. “I just don’t wanna be on Instagram anymore. Or on any social media platform. The internet is an evil place and it doesn’t make me feel good. Why should I spend any time on negative energy when my real lie is f**king lit. The fact that I even have to say this proves my point. I love you all and I’m sure I’ll be back at some point :)”

Davidson recently went back on the app to leave a few comments for Grande. But it appears that he has deleted his Instagram once again.

Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, alluded to their breakup on Saturday, October 13. Grande was supposed to perform at the F*ck Cancer Gala but backed out last minute.

Braun said, “Someone I’m very close to way supposed to come sing for you today, and because of things that she’s going through she couldn’t be here today. And while I was frustrated, being the manager, my wife, being who she always is, just looked at me and she goes, ‘She needs this time.'”

Grande has been taking a break from performing after her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller past away in early September. Braun could have been alluding to a breakup or just to Grande dealing with Miller’s death. Either way, this breakup is a lot.
