Police officials said that two middle school girls in Bartow Florida brought knives to school in a morbid plot to kill classmates, cut them up and drink their blood before killing themselves. Bartow is located in the heart of Florida’s citrus belt.
They Did What?
The two girls, only 11 and 12 years old, came to Bartow Middle School with multiple knives, scissors and a pizza cutter. They even brought a goblet which would be used to hold the blood of fellow students that they were going to drink. According to Big World News, Bartow Police Chief Joe Hall said that the girls actually had a well-laid plan in place which included them seeking out students who were weaker than them.
“They wanted to kill at least 15 people and were waiting in the bathroom for the opportunity to find smaller kids they could overpower to be their victims.”
How Did They Come Up With The Plan?
Detectives said the girls devised the plot while watching “scary” movies at one of their houses over the weekend. The alleged plot was foiled when administrators searched for them after they didn’t show up for class Tuesday. The administrators found them in a bathroom stall and brought them back to their offices where they found the girls in possession of four knives, a pizza cutter and a knife sharpener, police said.
The young girls managed to plan the entire plot over the past weekend and were said to be doing it in the name of Satanic worship. Chief Hall said that during interviews with the girls, they revealed they were “Satan worshipers” who were willing to drink the blood of students and “possibly eat flesh.”
What Happened Next?
The girls from a Polk County middle school were arrested. They are now facing serious charges after a plot was uncovered that would have had them murdering multiple classmates. The charges include the conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and possession of a weapon at school, among other charges.
According to ABC 13 Eyewitness News, Deputy Police Chief Bryan Dorman said in an email that it will be up to prosecutors to decide whether the girls will be charged formally as juveniles or adults. After their arrest, the girls were sent to a juvenile detention facility.
Bartow Middle School in Florida were certainly not expecting a week involving a murder and suicide plot in late October. However, Police were grateful that the other students and teachers did not keep quiet when they heard of possible danger.
