Kylie let the architecture magazine into her home to show off her mansion. The magazine photographed rooms in Kylie’s house that many fans have not seen yet or only glimpse in Instagram stories.
Kylie’s house is very pink, fun, bright and full of neon signs.
“When we started this project, she wasn’t even old enough to drink legally,” says Martyn Lawrence Bullard, the Los Angeles designer who worked with Kylie to design her dream home. “This was her first really grown-up house.”
“I told Martyn I wanted a fresh, fun vibe to match the way I was feeling. Color was essential. I love pink, and I wanted a lot of it!” Kylie told Architectural Digest. “My closests and glam room are very personal to me, even down to the size of each drawer, so they fit my specific products and clothes. I spend a lot of time in those rooms, so we had to make sure they were perfect.”
Jenner’s glam room is outfitted with photos of Barbie dolls, a pink neon sign that says “Plastic,” baby pink beauty chairs and a peachy furry rug. Her dressing room is outfitted with lucite shelving, a chrome chandelier and plenty of mirrors. Not to mention her separate purse closet.
Her dining room feature custom ombre pink chairs that match Kylie Cosmetics’ lip kit colors.
Halfway through designing the home, Kylie found out she was pregnant. Kylie and Martyn quickly designed a nursery and playroom for Kylie’s first baby. Even with a baby on the way Kylie’s home still kept the same flair, fun, colorful vibe she was going for.
