This Is Us season three is back, finally.
In the previous episode, Kevin found out that their Uncle Nicky is alive. He promptly tells the rest of The Big Three and their mother Rebecca. The twist, their father Jack knew that his brother was alive the entire time. Yikes!
Turns out Nicky did something to Jack during the war that made Jack want to cut all ties with his brother. It takes Jack’s three kids to road trip back to Pennsylvania (which from California is insane) and demand answers.
Nicky tells them that while he was high he accidentally killed that little boy from the village with a grenade. It was an accident but Nicky shows no remorse making Jack want to cut ties with him.
The Big Three decide to help their uncle and when they return back to his trailer, he has a gun on a table ready to take his life.
Now Kevin is determined to help his uncle get over his past and work through his trauma. While Randall and Kate recount differing stories from their childhood and how someone’s point of view is everything.
