Ariana Grande is following in the footsteps of Khloe Kardashian and posting cryptic sub-messages on her Instagram story.
Grande is currently on her Sweetener World Tour and in her free time decided to share a cryptic message on her story about “letting someone go” even when you love them deeply.
The post she shared was from @the_enlighten_core, she also follows the account.
The post reads:
“Sometimes, the reason for letting someone go is because they can’t help but hurt you during this phase of their life. When you love someone deeply, you learn what demons live within them and you realize they are hurting you because they are hurting somewhere within themselves. They are fighting a battle within and may not even know it, so they take it out on you and fight you. Decide to let them go, but not because you’re being petty and resentful. You let them go because you really believe that the both of you can find the healing you truly need without being together and hurting each other in the process. Letting someone go doesn’t mean you stop loving and caring about anyone. Letting go means you’re choosing freedom over the illusion of loyalty.”

Who could this be about? This could easily be about her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson.
Davidson just started seriously seeing Kate Beckinsale, his first relationship since he and Grande broke off their engagement. Grande and Davidson had a messy breakup and were on and off at the end of their relationship. Their future was so uncertain that Grande recorded different versions of “Thank U, Next” just in case they got back together.

Grande said: “In my relationship at the time, things were so up and down and on and off, and so I didn’t know what was gonna happen. Then we got back together, so I had to make a different version of it. And then we broke up again so we ended up going back [to the original version.]
In her song “In My Head” off of Thank U, Next, is a song where Grande sings about falling in love with an idolized version of someone and she needs to come to terms with reality and break things off.
With all of these facts, you can jump to any conclusion you want about who the cryptic post is about.
