My freshman year of college, I lived in the absolutely worst dorm on campus. It was infested with cockroaches (some girls have to move out!), pipes bursted on a daily basis, we had one working shower, and no air conditioning. Obviously, I loved it because it was my dumpy dorm to call home, but holy moly, it was a crap hole. It was in such bad shape that the year we moved out, it was torn down during the summer and the land was used for the new rec center. RIP Barton Hall.
Anyway, the reason I bring all this up is because if I had known that High Point University existed when I was deciding where I was going to spend my 4 college years of life at, I would have ran there and never looked back. This place is absolutely amazing. I am shocked it even exists, like, remember that movie Accepted with Justin Long where he makes a fake university and it has all these cool classes like Intro to Yoga and Napping 101. This place seriously looks like it would have classes like that!
High Point University, which resides in High Point, North Carolina, looks more like Disneyland than an actual college campus where kids would spend time studying and taking exams. According to Daily Mail UK, “The campus has been improved with the help of $700 million in refurbishments.”
Thanks to the #highpointuniversity hashtag on Twitter and Instagram, we were able to gather up some of the most amazing photos that students or staff have taken to show off that they probably go to the best college in the United States. Check them out in the gallery below!
