Beyoncé forgot to lipsync during a Paris performance of the On The Run tour. While strutting to the tune of “Partition,” Bey briefly stopped to crouch down and greet some fans on stage. So caught up in the stans pining to get selfies with her, Queen Bey forgot to continue miming the lyrics.
This isn’t the first time Beyoncé was caught lipsyncing if one recalls the Presidential Inauguration. The Beyhive camp is clever enough to have her lipsync to a live recorded version of the song when she does. Mrs. Carter is very convincing when she lipsyncs which makes me wonder just how often she is doing it.
Look, I’ve seen Britney Spears live post-2007. She lipsynced and all she did was two-step from one side of the stage to the other and she still slayed my whole life. I could care less if pop stars sing live, if they still put on a good show. I especially don’t care if Bey doesn’t sing live every time because we have enough evidence to know that she can sing.
I do however care if pop stars brag about always singing live or shade others who lipsync when they don’t always do so themselves, which I don’t recall Beyoncé doing.
