Vote For The Hottest Vampire This Halloween

With Halloween coming up, it’s the perfect opportunity to binge watch your vampire favorites on Netflix. Whether you’re into the old school favorite Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the soap opera worthy drama of The Vampire Diaries, or the worst fake accents in human history courtesy of True Blood, there’s a bloodsucking demon for everybody. From the blood suckers in New Orleans on The Originals, to those other NOLA vampires in Interview with the Vampire, it’s become obvious to middle America that vamps all share one common trait — they’re all really, really, ridiculously good looking… which explains our obsession with their vaguely psychotic ways.

It’s the ultimate throw down: bad boy vs. good, only in this case, it involves brothers. How illicit. How dangerous. In the case of Damon, voting for him means you’re relegating your life to a milquetoast, beyond basic existence. When it comes to Stefan, you’re voting for someone who’s truly evil, or as he calls himself, a “reformed serial killer.” Sure, he would probably murder people for you, but doesn’t that make it all the more dangerous? Also– those eyes are everything.

If you were an Angel kind of girl, then you believe that true love conquers all (even when your OTL is secretly a bad boy in disguise). If you like Spike, then you live for danger. Sure, Angel was tall, dark, and handsome, and you just knew you could make him change. Spike, on the other hand, was bad to the core, which meant you knew he’d really love you, in a creepy, Drusilla kind of way.

Would you go for the too-tall Viking who makes being nekkid look wildly appealing, or the sad sack with the southern accent? Sure, Bill was particularly charming at first, in a Ryan Gosling in The Notebook knock-off kind of way, but his creepiness prevailed. Eric, on the other hand, transformed from truly evil to bad in the best ways.

Do you love Klaus, despite his past as sort-of a serial killer? Or would you prefer your men to be hopeless romantics, undeterred by crazy women (perfect for me, tbh). Klaus is a killer with a heart of gold, and what girl doesn’t dream of reforming the ultimate bad boy?

This makes me wish for IRL vampires, because it would mean that these two hunks would have never aged prematurely.

One sad, sparkly vampire, or his hunky brother? The choice is yours. Both sparkle in the sunlight, which seriously puts a damper on their cool factor, especially in comparison to the vicious vamps above. Edward loses points for loving the seriously basic Bella, but Emmett loses major points for his bowl cut.
