Neville Longbottom transformed quite a bit throughout the Harry Potter series. He started out kind of fat and nerdy, but by the seventh movie (part 2), he was a fierce wizard and not too bad looking either. Matthew Lewis played Neville in the films, and there’s definitely no casting him as the dork anymore.
Today his HP co-star Emma Watson tweeted a photo of Matthew in a soldier’s uniform promoting his role in BBC Three’s series “Bluestone 42.” Matthew plays Corporal Gordon House in the show, a comedy about soldiers in Afghanistan.
He looks very serious here but is hilarious in #Bluestone42. Watch @Mattdavelewis on @BBCthree Monday@10pm. So Good!! pic.twitter.com/u6y1mkCyxm

Let’s just say we wouldn’t mind playing with his magic wand nowadays.
