It’s a known fact that drunk college students are drawn to elevated surfaces during parties. That’s why somehow you always end up dancing on the bar and your friends have to remind you the next morning. However, this video will make you want to keep your feet planted firmly on the floor. WHDH reports a Massachusetts college student was arrested on Sunday after he shoved a woman off of a roof at a party, reportedly because he wanted to pump up the crowd.
More than 200 people were at the off-campus party at Bridgewater State University when many took our their phones to record student Sophia Czarowicz dancing on the roof. Police said Bridgewater State student Alexander Marquez, 20, came up behind her and physically pushed her off the roof into the crowd.
You can watch the terrifying video below recorded by party-goers.

Thankfully Czarowicz didn’t suffer any serious injuries because the crowd below broke her fall. But still…the girl got pushed off a roof!
Marquez reportedly told police he wanted to pump up the crowd, but now he faces charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct. He appeared in court on Monday for arraignment and pleaded not guilty. He is scheduled to be in court again later this month.
Even if Marquez doesn’t get in trouble with the courts, there’s a chance the university will take disciplinary action.“Our student code of conduct applies equally to off-campus as to on-campus actions,” Bridgewater State University President Frederick Clark Jr. said in a statement. “We will immediately begin our own inquiry into this matter and, based on our findings, will take any and all appropriate measures. Bridgewater State has a zero-tolerance policy for any acts of violence against any member of our university family.”
Lesson learned: Don’t push people off roofs.
