In case you can’t wait until tonight for Empire to premiere, this Jimmy Fallon version might help.
On The Tonight Show, Fallon created a parody of the hit show is called Jimpire. Fallon plays Juicy Jim, his own version of Lucious Lyon, and dons his signature outfit from the pilot episode along with a perfect impersonation of his voice. In Jimpire, Juicy Jim is looking for someone to takeover his legacy in fear of not being around for much longer due to his broken finger. Nervous that another freak accident might happen to him, he is looking to find an heir in one of his loyal staffers, band leader Quest Love, MC of the Roots Tariq, or show producer Andre. Of course, they couldn’t forget Higgy, their own version of Cookie Lyon played by Steve Higgins. Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson even make cameos in this hilarious parody.
