After just a few episodes, we’re already addicted to Scream Queens. While Chanel Oberlin’s ultimate mean girl insults and Jamie Lee Curtis in all her glory have us watching and re-watching, the chance that Nick Jonas might be a maniacal killer keeps the excitement going. Obviously, the big question of the show would be Who is the Red Devil(s)?
We might have to wait a while before we find out who is behind the mask on the show, we did a little digging to find out who plays the Red Devil on camera. Unfortunately, it’s not Nick Jonas slaying Ariana Grande and wielding chainsaws around campus, but actor Riley Schmidt. If Schmidt lost the mask, we have no trouble seeing why the ladies of Kappa Kappa Tau would let this handsome devil inside.
Riley Schmidt is actually an experienced killer…on camera. He was the one who squeezed inside that tight costume of the Rubber Man on season one of American Horror Story. Add Schmidt to the list of actors Ryan Murphy has used in more than one of his series – not a bad list to be on, considering Lea Michele and Darren Criss (who will appear on AHS this season) also are on it.
