Taylor Swift Donated $10,000 To Autistic Boy After His Cousins Rewrote “Blank Space” Into A Donation Plea

Is Taylor Swift going for sainthood or something?!

When Jacob Hill, a 5-year-old boy with autism, needed to raise money for a therapy dog, the family set up a GoFundMe page.

“Despite his challenges, Jacob is a promblem-solver, making him an excellent escape artist!,” the page reads “As a result, someone must be assigned to holding on to Jacob to ensure his safety.  Consequently, his mom and dad never rest physically or emotionally.”

With a dog, Jacob will be able to be independent yet safe, but the cost of training a service dog costs a pretty penny – $13,500.

So two loyal Swifties got creative. Jacob’s sister, Jordan Fox, and their cousin Makaylee Duhon, both 12, took T. Swift’s hit “Blank Space” and change the words around to encourage people to donate to Jacob’s cause.

Looks like the song caught the attention of Taylor Swift and her mom, Andrea, because four days ago, they donated $10,000.

They wrote, “Jacob, we hope you love your new dog! Please tell your cousins that they did a great job on the song! Love, Taylor and Andrew Swift.”

Taylor’s donation helped pushed Jacob and his family past their fundraising goal.

“Words could never express our gratitude to Taylor and Andrea Swift for their generosity,” Jacob’s mom Allison wrote on autismspeaks.org. “My son’s life and our family will forever be changed with this service dog. We just feel incredibly thankful and blessed and I know that if my son could, he would certainly tell Taylor Swift thank you.”

This is nothing new, really. T. Swift has always been super generous to her fans and friends. This past October, she donated $50,000 to the nephew of her backup dancer who was battling cancer and spent time with a 6-year-old fan with cancer during her 1989 World Tour. That doesn’t make it any less life-changing to Jacob.
