It’s always fun when a celeb does a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) and doesn’t just ignore all the questions people really want to know about. In preparation for his upcoming album and tour with Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas had an AMA session where he tackled questions on Miley Cyrus, his infamous purity ring, and more.
One Redditor asked Nick about his ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus and what he thought of her “new(ish) persona.” Instead of ignoring the inquiry, Nick Jonas gave a classy answer.
“It’s been a while since I spoke to Miley, but I think that the persona is awesome and I think that she is living proof that you can continue to evolve as an artist and a creator. And I’m a huge Woody Allen fan, so I’m looking forward to seeing the show that she’s doing with him.”
In the Q&A session, Nick also revealed that the one and only Jay Z helped him pick his new album title, Last Year Was Complicated.
“Basically I went to play the music for Jay Z, who’s now partners with my manager, Phil McIntyre,” Nick shared. “When he heard the record, I said, ‘I think I have a title picked out,’ and I told him. And he said, ‘After hearing all the music, I don’t think it’s quite right. I think you should try thinking of some other things. Can you just tell me what this year of your life was like?’ And I said, ‘Last year was complicated.’ And he said, ‘That’s it.’ So he kinda helped me pick out the title, and having Jay Z in the corner was a good thing.”
