What? Nip slips aren’t appropriate for morning television?
Kelly Ripa is back in her hosting chair on Live! With Kelly and Michael, but Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell was filling in yesterday. Unfortunately, her outfit was not cooperating despite being on live TV.
While interviewing guest Donnie Wahlberg, a strap on Shay’s shirt broke. Luckily nothing too scandalous was revealed, but it was a close call.
“No big deal,” Shay joked. “My strap just could’ve come off on live television. Popped right off!” co-host Michael Strahan jokingly admitted that he didn’t know what he or Donnie would’ve done if a Janet Jackson moment had occurred.
Luckily, the wardrobe team was quick to sew up the problem and prevent an X-rated exposure.
And Shay was unfazed. She joked on Instagram, “AS IF I WASN’T NERVOUS ENOUGH.”
