Starbucks just made our long summer days more bearable by releasing a whole new menu. Their new sunset menu was announced today and features a brand new drink called the granita, and you’re going to want to try it ASAP.
The drink was inspired by the classic Italian treat that’s made from sweet, finely-shaved ice and various fruit flavorings. The Instagram photos are amazing.

After checking out the new menu, my mouth was already watering. Starbucks is offering a Strawberry Lemon Limeaid Granita, Teavana Youthberry White Tea Granita , and if you need an afternoon pick me up, the Caramel Espresso Granita.

As if that wasn’t enough to make us want to run over to Starbucks right now, the chain is also offering two new sweets: the Chocolate Brownie and Strawberry Shortcake Trifles. Honestly, who needs a bikini body when you can have a chocolate brownie drink? Am I right?
Unfortunately, like everything good in the world, there’s a catch. These new drinks will only be available in the afternoons after 3 pm. However, to make our lives better, from June 14 to June 26 you can bring your morning receipt into Starbucks in the afternoon to get a grande granita or trifle for $3. Things are looking up.
