Mick Jagger, rock legend and co-founder of the Rolling Stones, is presenting the world with a new gift: a child. At 72 f*cking years old. You’d think he’d be tired of this by now, considering he already has seven kids ranging in age from 17 to 45, and two grandchildren. But no.
The musical icon is expecting his eighth child — almost two decades after his last kid popped out — with his 29-year-old ballerina girlfriend of two years, Melanie Hamrick. Media reports concerning the pregnancy circulated earlier this week, but Jagger’s reps just confirmed that the rumors are true, according to the Guardian.
Hamrick and Jagger have been together for the last two years, getting together shortly after Jagger’s ex, L’Wren Scott, committed suicide in 2014. Despite the circumstances, they’ve managed to keep a relatively low profile. Obviously that’s about to go out the window.
