Melania Trump spoke during the Republican National Convention last night in honor of the presumptive GOP presidential candidate, Donald Trump. The speech was great — powerful, inspiring, direct — but there was a major problem: it wasn’t hers.

Trump’s campaign has since released a statement defending her. “In writing her beautiful speech, Melania’s team of writers took notes on her life’s inspirations, and in some instances included fragments that reflected her own thinking,” they stated.
Umm… right.
Of course, Twitter had something to say about it. Immediately after her speech ended, the hashtag #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes started trending, delivering everything that made last night’s coverage so great: comedic failure.
