The new couple is equal parts low-key and high-profile, thanks to the incessant media coverage and paparazzi photos documenting their every move. But when it comes to direct statements, both have remained pretty quiet. However, that infamous rock photo speaks volumes.

But now, after a few controversial months of dating, Tom Hiddleston is finally shedding some light on what it’s like to date the biggest popstar in the world… sort of.
During a recent Facebook Live Q&A session with Hollywood reporter, Hiddleston was subtly asked about his relationship with Taylor Swift and what her megastar status has taught him about celebrity culture.
When asked, “The summer has been a high-profile one for you personally. What have you learned about the culture of celebrities?” Hiddleston’s initial reaction is “woah.” Based on that Taylor Swift, Kimye fight, we can’t blame him.
He elaborated, “We all live in a world where every phone has a camera and there’s nothing new, really, about the spotlight on me, I think that’s what happens when you’re a public figure. I’ve learned that there are many sides to a story and that sometimes there are a lot of stories out there which are false and the hardest thing is to try to not let those falsehoods affect your own little life, that’s what I would say.”
Do we sense some shade thrown towards Kim Kardashian and Kanye West? We think yes. And honestly, there should be — if he wasn’t sticking up for his girlfriend, there’d be an issue.
