After last week’s premiere, this season looks intense. But that’s no surprise for Grey’s Anatomy,
Megan Hunt is back and doing pretty okay for someone who was presumed dead for 10 years. Rigg’s dreams have come true now that Megan is back and he even pops the question which Megan declines because she believes that Rigg’s is in love with Meredith. Wait, what? If Derek rose from the dead, Meredith would be all over that, why is there any sort of strain between Ridge and Megan?
But we can all rejoice because Teddy Altman is back! Who serves as Owen’s rock during Megan’s surgery and goes after Owen’s wife Amelia for not being there for her husband (and rightfully so.) Amelia’s excuse is that she’s figuring out how to operate on an inoperable tumor much to the disapproval of Jackson who refuses to help Amelia on this dangerous surgery and DeLuca who is trying to keep Amelia in check while dealing with his sister who just showed up already hooking up with Arizona and conducting a study that involves women masturbating. Deep breath.
After confronting Amelia, Owen kisses Teddy. Bad idea, Owen. But as this is all going down, Amelia discovers that she has a huge brain tumor resting on her frontal lobe that, by the looks of it, has been there for quite some time.
Yeah, it’s a lot to take in, but you know you want to know what happens next.
