Riverdale is the next big thing and the CW would be dumb to not capsize on the shows expanding popularity. There is already a spinoff in the works about Sabrina the Teenage Witch, called the Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina.
But who will play Sabrina? It’s rumored that Selena Gomez is going to be playing the titular role as dark Sabrina. The Twitter account @MusicNewsRumor posted that Selena is rumored to be the leading lady of the new series.

Even though there isn’t any confirmation, it is a rumor, Selena’s new blonde hair is making fans believe the rumor. Sabrina is notoriously blonde and Selena just dyed her hair platinum blonde.

If Selena is playing Sabrina is will be her first television show since Wizards of Waverly Place. Apparently, Selena just can’t pass up on a good witch role.
The show will take a darker look at Sabrina, just like the Riverdale series does with the Archie comics. According to Variety, the show will be focused on Sabrina dealing with being half-witch and half-mortal. Sabrina and Archie exist in the same universe, which is why Sabrina makes sense as a spinoff.
But the biggest cast confirmation is if Salem, the talking cat, will be in the new Sabrina series.
