Drama on The Bachelor has just begun to heat up and thank goodness because it’s been a little boring. This week Lauren Burnham finally gets her first solo date with Arie Luyendyk in the city of love, Paris.
But it might not be love at first sight for these two. ABC says, “Arie and Lauren B. take in the historic sites of Paris, but their date gets off to a slow start filled with awkward silences and forced conversation as they try to get to know each other. Lauren was engaged to professional hockey player Chris Crane. The two were supposed to get married in July 2017. According to Reality Steve, they called off the wedding in December 2016. They called it quits before The Bachelor started filming

In the promo for episode six Lauren hints that she has had a hard time opening up and she is “terrified.” Maybe her past broken engagement haunts her still. Arie handled Bekah’s age difference gracefully, let’s hope he can do the same with Lauren’s past.
