Everyone’s favorite 80s TV sitcom family is back and hopefully will be here to stay. Roseanne originally aired on October 18, 1988, and lasted nine seasons until it was taken off air on May 20, 1997.
The show is one of the highest ranked and watched shows ever aired. Viewers followed working mother Roseanne Connor, played by Roseanne Barr, and her midwest Illinois family navigate life. Roseanne is married to Dan and they have four children, Becky, Darlene, DJ and Jerry. The show is credited as the only show to accurately portray blue-collar American families but still had controversial storylines.
Now the Connors are back and a lot has changed, but a lot has also stayed the same. Darlene has to do some parenting after her son Mark is caught at school with a pocket knife after being bullied. Becky is nervous to introduce her new friend to her family.
