Word of advice, maybe don’t diss the person who has the most Instagram followers on Instagram. If you have any negative opinions about Selena Gomez, who is the most followed person, keep them to yourself or make sure your profile is private. Her fans are loyal and there are legit 138 million of them. But Stefano Gabbana, half of Dolce & Gabbana, couldn’t help himself.
The Italian designer took to Instagram to share his distaste for Gomez. The Catwalk Italia shared a collage of Gomez on their feed yesterday. The collage was of Gomez in five different red looks. They simply asked their fans which red outfit was their favorite.

Gabbana commented on the post, “She’s so ugly!!!” His comment was pointed out by Diet Prada, an Instagram dedicated to outing fashion copies and drama within the fashion world. Diet Prada and Dolce & Gabbana have a troubled past. Diet Prada has called out the designers for their problematic views on homophobia and IVF babies and calling them out for knocking off Gucci.

So of course if Gabbana was going to step out of the line, Diet Prada will be quick to put them on blast.
Gabbana has since deleted his comment but the damage is done. Fans attacked him in the comments of that photo and the comments of his own photos. He turned off the comments for the first three rows of pictures on his profile. But you can see in the other photos Gomez fans leaving the poop emoji and declaring the fashion house to be over.
Some comments aren’t as childish. Fans are calling him ugly, claiming Coach is better (Gomez is the face of Coach) and that he’s tragic.

It’s unclear what set Gabbana off. There is no prior beef between him, his brand and Gomez. He could just have an unexplainable distaste for her or he truly is just troll. Maybe someone should show Gabbana how to make a burner Instagram account so he can do all the trolling he wants in peace. Until then Gomez fans will continue to drag him.
