Ethan Dolan and his twin brother Grayson run their uber famous YouTube channel the Dolan Twins. The 18-year-old twins started posting to Vine and by May 2013 rose to fame on the six-second video platform. They gained 6.6 million followers on the platform. When the platform was shut down, the twins pivoted to YouTube like the rest of the Viners.
They first posted on YouTube in July 2014. Within four years they have amassed 6.2 million YouTube subscribers and 4.2 million Instagram followers on their joint Instagram. Ethan has his own 7.3 million followers on Instagram, which is less than Grayson’s 7.6 million followers.
Their most viewed video is when Grayson got his wisdom teeth out. It has over 16 million views. In March 2018 the twins announced that they would be taking a break from YouTube. They took roughly a month off before they announced their return to YouTube in May 2018 with a YouTube video.
The twins are signed to AwesomenessTV in 2015. It’s owned by Viacom, and it’s a YouTube company that is about creating content and managing YouTubers. They’re part of the Sister Squad with James Charles and Emma Chamberlain. And the two even live together.

In 2015 it was rumored that Ethan was dating model Meredith Mickelson. The two never confirmed their romance, but fans are convinced they dated. There is a whole lotta drama surrounding their brief never confirmed relationship. Supposedly when they broke up Mickelson and her friend posted a YouTube video about dating advice. She allegedly whispered to her friend that she cheated on Ethan. Then the Dolan twins shared a video where they ranted about internet drama.
To make things more confusing Ethan’s ex-friend Jack Dail said their relationship was fake. So strange.
