Princess Eugenie of York is ninth in line for the throne behind her older sister Princess Beatrice and her father Prince Andrew. She’s cousins with Prince Harry and Prince William and her grandma is Queen Elizabeth II, so she lived in the spotlight, to say the least.
Eugenie is the second and youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Duchess Sarah Ferguson. Her parents are divorced and have caused lots of rumors, but they have a good relationship now. When she was 18-years-old Princess Eugenie began dating “bad boy” Hugo Taylor. They were seen out at parties together and spotted kissing. Taylor isn’t of royal descent but is a London socialite. He founded Taylor Morris Eyewear, a luxury eyewear brand. He got married to Millie Mackintosh in 2018.

Eugenie and Jack met in 2010 while in Switzerland. Eugenie described it love at first sight. They dated but didn’t make it official until 2011 when they attended their first event together as a couple.
In January 2018 the couple announced that they were engaged. Eugenie showed off her pink sapphire ring in an interview. The couple designed the ring together after Jack proposed. Jack dropped down to one knee during a trip to Nicaragua without a ring. The couple got married on October 12, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Queen Elizabeth didn’t have to grant Eugenie permission to marry because she’s ninth in line for the throne. Eugenie wore a gown from Peter Pilotto with long sleeves, folded shoulders and a low back. She had an emerald and diamond tiara on with matching emerald earrings. Jack won’t be gaining a royal title through the marriage.
