Last week we were giddy over the news of a Mean Girls spin-off movie happening 11 years after the original movie blew our middle school minds. Now, we’ve received even more good news about Mean Moms…it’s going to star Jennifer Aniston. If you can find me one person who doesn’t like Jennifer and thinks Brad Pitt is better off with Angelina Jolie, I’m going to need you to point me in their direction so I can give them a gentle speech I’ve prepared about the greatness of Rachel Green Jennifer Aniston.
The premise of the new comedy is reported to be about a mother of two who moves to a high-class suburb and has to deal with botox-happy, “my child is an angel,” competitive bitches. Pretty much high school mean girls who never got hit by a bus and learned their lesson about playing nice with others.
It’s not clear which role Jennifer will play, but we think she’s a great choice as a chill mom who could potentially turn into the gossiping, wine-loving Real Housewife of Suburbia. Or at least have to deal with them. We’re just missing one thing…join me in praying that Amy Poehler’s character makes a cameo.
