Human Ken Doll Claims There’s No Such Thing As Too Much Plastic Surgery

Meet Rodrigo Alves, a man who’s commonly referred to as “The Human Ken Doll” but insists there’s no such thing as being addicted to plastic surgery.

Alves, 33, just underwent his 50th facial surgery and spent the last few weeks recovering from an SMAS facelift as well as neck and eye lifts. However, during an appearance on the UK’s This Morning, the Instafamous star insists he hasn’t gone too far with his procedures despite spending more than $460,000 in surgery.

“There’s no such thing as being addicted to plastic surgery,” he explained to concerned hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes. “It’s constant, it’s like getting an MOT on a car. Most of us try and change ourselves somehow, I took it to a different level. I’m a different person, now my soul matches my body.”

He continued, “Plastic surgery made me the person I am today. I want to be the best person I can with the help of plastic surgery.”

Ok sure, but how the hell does he afford all of these procedures? Alves says a large portion of his inheritance goes into the pockets of plastic surgeons.

“My grandparents left me with property, I am very blessed, and I used to be a flight attendant and now I have two shows on TV, one here and one in the USA. This is how I pay for all this surgery,” he explained.

Today he told the Daily Mail about how he’s currently recovering from “the worst surgery of his life.”

“It’s been really hard. If I eat solid food, the stitches could burst open and lead to infection,” he said. “I could not have a hot shower during the 11 days because the steam could result in dilated blood vessels in my face leading to hematoma. I can’t lift anything or bend and I have had to sleep for 11 days at a 45 degree angle to create good blood flow, which made my butt hurt.”

That explanation is enough for us to never get plastic surgery, but according to Alves, the results are well worth the pain.

“Now I look 19 years old. There is still some bruising and swelling but it feels tight, like I’ve had Botox all over. I am very happy with the results. 48 hours after surgery, my face was huge and I kept asking myself if I did the right thing. But Dr. Calin Dobos, who treated me, has seen me everyday.”

Aside from his face, Alves has undergone the knife to achieve the Brazilian butt he’s always dreamed of.

“The gym doesn’t work for me at all, I have a hormone dysfunction and my body doesn’t build muscle,” he explained, trying to justify his surgery. “So if I want to modify my body, I need to go on a very extreme diet and surgically get fat moved from one part of my body to another part. In this instance, I’ve put two stone on and eaten 3,000 calories, so I’ve been having cakes and over Christmas I was eating a lot. I gained a lot of fat quite quickly, the fat went to my back and to my legs, the doctor gave me a high-definition liposuction and that fat was transferred to my bum.”

To each their own, we guess? Check out more photos of Rodrigo Alves below.
