We’ve all been ghosted by Tinder matches — it’s the way of the online dating game. But while most of us move on with our lives and spend our time chatting with another match, others go on racist rants. Luckily those same d-bags often get called out on social media thanks to people like Kevin Tran, who recently put a guy on blast after he harrassed his friend on the popular dating app. He told the story in a Facebook post this weekend.

“I met this guy in college and he seemed like a decent guy,” he wrote. “He was nice, friendly, etc.” Needless to say, this story goes south quickly.

He continued, “Over the weekend, he matched a friend of mine on Tinder and they exchanged messages. When she didn’t respond immediately, he lost it and left a bunch of nasty messages. I called him out on it, he denied, and he proceeded to block me on all social media,” he said.

To make things 100% clear, Tran added, “Sexism and racism takes many forms and it cannot be tolerated. As a man and POC, we can’t let this stand. If you know Nick Vedovi, unfriend him.”

Tran gave his followers a taste of what Vedovi said by posting screenshots of the messages, where he called her derogatory names, racial slurs, and insulted her appearance. So yeah, the guy is a real douche.

The post was later updated to reveal that other women had come forward with similar stories about the 24-year-old.

“The intent behind this post was to expose Nick for who he is, a racist misogynist,” Tran wrote. “Since posting this, several women have revealed their own encounters with him and others like him. We don’t have to put up with this. We have to protect each other by calling these people out, even/especially if they are your friends, and showing that this behavior will not be tolerated and will never be acceptable. #NoMoreHiding”

Not all heroes wear capes.
