Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton seemed like the Barbie and Ken of reality TV.
After Bachelor in Paradise, Amanda left Mexico with an engagement ring and the duo proceeded to load our Instagram feeds with adorable photos of the happy fam with Amanda’s two daughters, Charlie and Kinsley.
Everything seemed like it was going great — until the duo confirmed they had split early in 2017.
Or had they? Just a couple weeks later, the couple were spotted kissing after getting dinner together.
Josh called into the Candy Dish podcast to clear up what was really going on between the former lovebirds.
“It wasn’t really easy when we broke up, obviously, especially being a public relationship and a public breakup,” he says. “We try to be as private about it as possible, especially with the two kids and everything like that. She actually was just out here in Atlanta for this weekend for a few days. I have to head up to L.A. to do a Bachelor viewing party on Monday and I’ll be staying there from like Friday to Wednesday and hanging out with her and kids.”
Josh continues, “We started talking again, so we’re going to take things a little bit slower this time and really work on things that didn’t work in the past.”

And it’s not all about Amanda. Josh reveals whether he’s been watching his rival Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor, what life is really like in the Bachelor mansion, and the big lie producers told him to get him on the show.
