Can you believe it? We’re finally at hometowns. How did we make it here? It’s been a bumpy ride, but now we have Bryan, Peter, Eric and Dean taking Rachel home to meet their families.
First, check out the preview and then let’s break it down by guy. Be prepared, this episode trailer looks absolutely wild.
Yep, I know. Crazy.
First, we have Eric, who admits that he hasn’t brought a girl home before… But also tells Rachel he loves her. She faces his Baltimore origins with trepidation, but this trailer spoils itself by showing them in Spain. His family will love her because a) who wouldn’t love for their son to bring her home? and b) he makes it through, so clearly it all goes well.
Next, Dean. Poor Dean. He warned Rachel that this would be a rough trip for the both of them and based on the trailer, that seems about right. His rocky relationship with his dad leads to tears. We also don’t see him in Spain, which could mean Dean is the one left without a rose… but wouldn’t it be cruel for Rachel to leave him behind solely because of his dad? There has to be more to the story.
Of course, there’s Peter. Don’t forget Peter! It doesn’t seem to be an easy week for Peter, who confesses that he still has “walls up” and whose mother suggests that he’s not ready for marriage. There are tears, but these trailers are a bit choppily edited and TBH, there’s no way that Peter won’t end up in the top. He’s also shown in Spain.
Finally, Bryan. Bryan is a smooth talker and that’s exactly what this trailer demonstrates. Can he be trusted? At one point, Rachel does seem to be telling him that they’re in different places. Her family also doesn’t seem to be feeling Bryan. We’re not sure what to make of it, but Bryan just doesn’t seem like he’ll be going home.
Who will Rachel choose? It’s anybody’s game at this point (as long as you haven’t read the spoilers!), so stay tuned to see who cries, who throws wine and who acts like they’ve never seen an episode of this show before.
