We are nine days away from September, which is when we will have to finally admit that summer is coming to a close. We will have to pack away our bathing suits and sandals and instead pull out our sweaters and reload our Starbucks cards for all of the PSLs we are going to be buying.
Whether or not you are a fan of fall, transitioning seasons can always be a little rough so here is how we feel about summer ending as told by characters from our favorite TV shows.
When you are sad because you remember that you’ll have to study but you are excited to see all of your school friends again.
When you take another beach day with your friends instead of packing to go back to school.
When you start thinking about cozy sweaters, hot chocolate and Halloween coming around the corner.
When you want to embrace those last few days/weeks of it being acceptable to find yourself drinking on a weekday.
When you know that whether you like it or not, you are going to have to get back on that school grind eventually.
Coming to terms with the fact that you will be able to still let loose and have fun every once in a while.
Prentending to do some advanced schoolwork when you have other things on your mind.
When your parents ask you if you have everything ready to go to do back to school but you are in denial.
Knowing that it will all be okay because summer will be here again before we know it.
