‘Gilmore Girls’ Creator Says Another Revival Is ‘Definitely Possible’ & Oy With The Poodles Already

Amy Sherman-Palladino teased the final four words of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life for months — and when they finally aired on Netflix, it blindsided her longtime fans.

With Rory’s pregnancy comes a few questions. Is Logan the father? Will he be an absentee father like Christopher was to Rory, mirroring her unorthodox childhood? Will she still find her way back to her one true love Jess? (don’t @ me). Will she write about this in her book? Is Lorelai actually okay with being the subject of her daughter’s book? Can we retire the Life & Death Brigade once and for all because it was fun in college but like, let’s move it along? Will Rory’s child grow up in Stars Hollow? Will I ever stop crying at Emily losing Richard? Will Rory’s child have Friday night dinners with Emily once a week? Oh, and can we finally get the happy ending for Lane Kim that she deserves?

The Gilmore Girls creator gave an interview promoting her upcoming Amazon series The Marvelous Mrs Maisel this week, and naturally the conversation quickly veered in another direction.

“We carved out a little niche for ourselves with Amazon saying that if we ever want to do it, if the girls and us get together and we have a concept that works, then we have the freedom to do it,” Sherman-Palladino revealed to Radio Times when asked about another revival.

“So it would just have to be the right circumstances, and that we’re all sort of in the same drunken mood together to go repaint Stars Hollow again. Because we had to repaint Stars Hollow, and we’ll have to repaint it again. But it’s definitely possible.”

*prays for drunken moods for everyone*
