Celebrating birthdays and holidays are always a fun time because it’s when family and friends get together. But if someone close to you has passed the celebration of these typically fun times can be a sad reminder.
Luckily for Bailey Sellers when her dad, Michael William Sellers passed away in 2012 he made sure that he would always be “present” for her birthday.
CosmopolitanEvery year on her birthday her dad send her a bouquet of flowers. She shared on her Twitter a picture of her 21st birthday flowers and how her dad is still celebrating her birthday despite him not being alive.
“My dad passed away when I was 16 from cancer and before he died he pre payed flowers so I could receive them every year on my birthday. Well this is my 21st birthday flowers and the last. Miss you so much daddy.”

According to Cosmopolitan, Michael was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer at the end of 2012 and he passed away six months later.
In Michael’s note that came with Bailey’s flowers, he explained how this would be the last year he was going to send her flowers. Even though the flowers will stop coming, he will always be with her.
Because this is the last year that Bailey will get birthday flowers she is a little more heartbroken than usual.
I know. Every year I looked forward to my birthday because I felt like he was still here with me but this is the last year I get them so it's so heart breaking. 😐
