Yolanda Hadid is back but not with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yolanda Hadid’s new show, Making A Model with Yolanda Hadid, is a reality contestant show that will follow six aspiring teenage models and their wishful momagers.
Yolanda notoriously managed her daughters Gigi and Bella Hadid into our current It Girl supermodels. She is now trying to share her momager magic with these eager girls and their moms.
Yolanda is a tough cookie, she may not bring the theatrics like Tyra Banks did in America’s Next Top Model, but there will definitely be drama. It’s like ANTM meets Dance Moms, so strap in.
The preview showed many teen models crying and their mom’s even breaking down under the pressures of the modeling world. Gigi and Bella make appearances on the show to help mentor the young models. Tommy Hilfiger, Gigi’s fashion business partner, even makes an appearance.
The winner will be awarded $5,000, a management contract with Yolanda and the opportunity to be represented by IMG models. It doesn’t quite make sense that the winner would get to be repped by Yolanda and not their momager in training, but whatever.
It’s shocking that Yolanda beat Kris Jenner, the woman who coined the term momager, to a momager reality show.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the eight-episode series will premiere on January 11 on Lifetime. We can not wait to see what wise modeling wisdom the Hadids will pass down.
