In 8 Mile, Eminem single-handedly made homemade spaghetti cool with his smash-hit “Lose Yourself” — and this weekend he brought it to the masses.
“Detroit! Come vomit up some spaghetti with me this weekend at our official #Revival pop up,” the rapper tweeted on Thursday (December 14). “Exclusive merch, spaghetti and more.”
The two-day pop-up restaurant, aptly named “Mom’s Spaghetti,” (s/o to the marketing genius who pitched this idea) opened on Friday and extends through 5 pm on Sunday at The Shelter in Detroit. The menu includes Mom’s Spaghetti with or without meatballs and a S’Ghetti Sandwich, both reasonably priced at $5.

The pop-up coincides with the release of Eminem’s new album, “Revival,” which hit stores Friday. Judging by the photos that have been circulating on Instagram, the spaghetti doesn’t seem vomit-inducing in the slightest — but then again, if your palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, it’s probably best to avoid it.
Rummage for your velour tracksuit and concept belts, because 2002 is calling.
