Christmas is one of the best, if not the best, holiday of the year. Sure, the snow and the cold can be annoying, but they’re the perfect excuse to bundle up in a cozy, oversized sweater and leggings, sip on some hot chocolate, and watch Netflix. The holiday cheer is infectious and everyone just seems to have that holiday lit-from-within-glow (or maybe that’s the Anastasia Beverly Hills highlight you treated yourself to). Speaking of treating yo self, Christmas is the biggest shopping season of the year, and if you’re anything like me, you’re wary of battling through the crowds too close to Christmas when stocking up on those perfect, last-minute gifts. That means online shopping is inevitable…but the question is: will your gift or card make it to its destination in time to be opened under the tree?
Does The United States Deliver Mail on Christmas Eve?
Since Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, snail mail will not be delivered on Christmas Eve. So if you have a card that needs delivering, plan ahead. However, Amazon and The United States Postal Service will still be delivering packages on Christmas Eve, so there’s no need to be too anxious. Fedex will not be delivering mail on Christmas Eve.
Expect delays as the system will be backed up due to the high volume of deliveries.
