Adam Rippon Is Now An Official Olympics Correspondent

Adam Rippon in many ways already serves as an unofficial correspondent for both the Olympics and our hearts (his quip “I can’t explain witchcraft” should be transcribed in history books) but NBC has come to their senses and decided to hire on the Olympic figure skater darling for the rest of the games.

USA Today reported that NBC hired Rippon to be an official correspondent for the remainder of the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics today, and we are all breathing a collective sigh of relief that we haven’t seen the last of him.

Rippon won a bronze medal last week as part of Team USA and placed 10th in men’s single skate — but his endearing, witty interviews have left us forever changed.

Judging by tweets like these, there’s no way he WON’T slay as a correspondent.

With everything going on in the media about me this Valentine’s Day I don’t want people to get distracted and forget how beautiful I am (on the outside)

To all those who tweet at me saying that they “hope I fail”, I have failed many times many times in my life. But more importantly, I’ve learned from every setback, proudly own up to my mistakes, grown from disappointments, and now I’m a glamazon bitch ready for the runway.

Here’s hoping NBC gives Leslie Jones and Adam Rippon as much air time together as possible.
