Kylie Jenner Is Being Mommy-Shamed Already & It’s Only Been A Month

Kylie Jenner has only been a mother for a month, but mommy-shamers have already emerged in full force for the younger Jenner sister.

The lip kit tycoon has been increasingly active on social media since her daughter Stormi’s birth, a process she chose to shield from the public in order to have a “positive, stress-free” pregnancy. Of course, now that she’s decided to come forward with the happy news, trolls have taken her online activity as an invitation to comment on her parenting abilities.

Kylie’s long acrylic nails have become the subject of heated dispute on Twitter, with people insisting that she couldn’t possibly be a good mother with nails that length — and that she likely couldn’t even change diapers.

“The length of Kylie Jenner’s nails tells me all i need to know about her parenting/lack thereof,” one Twitter user wrote.

“How has Kylie Jenner got massive fake nails on when she’s got to take care of a lil tiny baby?” another posed.

*sighs for 1,000 years*

Thankfully, fans have also been coming to Kylie’s defense on the platform, dismissing the ridiculous mommy-shaming.

why is everyone going off on one saying @KylieJenner is a bad mother because she has fake nails on? pretty sure you can still take care of a child with nails on🤨

people are mom shaming @KylieJenner because of her long nails. people need to chill and find something better to do with their lives.

Being a new mother is a stressful enough experience without the public weighing in on what does and does not make an acceptable parent. Dictating how a mom should look, even a celebrity one, is both needlessly cruel and perpetuating the myth that there is only one right way to be a parent.
