Earlier this week speculation started that newly single Ariana Grande and newly single Pete Davidson are dating. The couple seems like it came out of left field, but it makes sense. Grande was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live the other week. The two apparently hit it off and are now together.
Fans speculated if this romance was just a rumor, but now Grande has made it semi-Instagram official. She commented on Davidson’s new Instagram post. Yup, that’s right.

The photo in question is of Pete wearing a backward hat and hoodie while smirking. Grande commented a simple 😊 emoji, but still, that’s not nothing. The two weren’t even linked as being friends a few weeks ago and now we have Grande commenting cutesy emoji’s on Davidson’s Instagram. Don’t tell me this is just a senseless emoji.
Grande definitely knows that there is speculation that she and Davidson are seeing each other. She has been super active on social media lately and in general isn’t one of those celebrities who just hops on their Instagram to post a promo to their fans.
Just yesterday she called out a fan who blamed her for her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller’s DUI. She took the time out of her day to respond to this regular person with a full notes app drag that was poignant and sweet. This is one mildly successful tweet from a random and she saw it. It’s safe to assume she has seen the countless reports of her and Davidson allegedly seeing each other.
In true Grande fashion, the emoji keeps us on our toes. It doesn’t outright confirm that they’re together, but she is letting everyone know that something is going on.
So now we wait for the real photo proof Instagram debut.
