Recast Classic Films With Female Leads

Ocean’s 8 busted onto the scene on Thursday, making $4 million in its pre-release preview opening. The Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc’s film is a gender-swapped sequel to the wildly popular and male-dominated 2001-2007 Ocean’s trilogy. Starring Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean, Danny Ocean’s (George Clooney) estranged sister, the film’s cast also includes Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helen Bonham Carter, and Rihanna. With all these kick-ass ladies leading the way, we cannot wait to see how the action-packed heist goes down.
