Ariana Grande Has A Song Called “Pete” On Her New Album & Fans Have Lots Of Opinions

It’s been a whirlwind last few months for Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson. The couple made their relationship Instagram official at the end of May and on June 11 TMZ reported that the couple was engaged. Cue all of the opinions!

On top of her new relationship, Grande has an album coming out this summer called Sweetener. The album is her first since the Manchester attack. A lot in her life has changed besides her relationship status and this album is supposed to reflect that while giving up bops.

Grande took to Twitter yesterday to talk to her fans and answer their burning questions. Her mini AMA came right after her tracklist was announced. A track on Sweetener is “Pete Interlude” named after her rumored fiance. Fans had lots of opinions on the track title and some weren’t afraid to share them on Twitter.

One fan even had the nerve call Grande dumb for naming a track after Davidson. Grande shut down the hater with a simple. “nah.”

Another fan jumped in on the Twitter thread and congratulated Grande for not giving a single f**k. Grande then dropped some tea on her personal life. “I been the f**k thru it and life’s too short to be cryptic,” she responded. She also called her’s and Pete’s love “beautiful.”

In a now deleted thread, Grande responded to fans about her relationship with Davidson. “Dreaming someone into your life (which actually way after we made the song which is so very strange),” she posted. It’s unsure what the fans originally said if it was negative or positive. But now fans think her song “R.E.M.” is about Davidson. Her tweet is very similar to her first Instagram post of the couple. The caption reads, “I thought you into my life, woah! Look at my mind.”

Not every fan criticized Grande for falling head of heels for Davidson. One fan tweeted at Grande, “plz show our Pete endless love today give him many hugs.”

The couple hasn’t confirmed their engagement, but many of their friends have and Davidson shared a photo of Grande’s rumored engagement ring. Bottom line is that Grande and Davidson are clearly very happy and in love so let them live people! Don’t act like “Pete Interlude” isn’t going to be a hit.
