Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson surprising got engaged in June. Since their quick engagement fans have been speculating about when their wedding will be. Because their relationship has been so fast-paced, they think the couple will be married before the summer is over.

Fans are speculating that the couple’s wedding date is going to be August 4 for a very important reason. The numerical version of the date is 8/4/18 and is also Davidson’s late father, Scott Davidson’s FDNY number.

Davidson’s dad passed away in the 9/11 attacks and his FDNY number 8418 is very important. Both of them have the number tattooed on them. Soon after dating, Grande got the number tattooed on her foot to match Davidson’s tattoo on his left arm.

Recently Davidson shared a photo of Grande wearing his dad’s FDNY pendant with his number, 8418, is clearly on display. The pendant caused lots of drama. Haters filled Davidson’s comments calling him out for letting a “girl” wear his dad’s chain and for giving his ex-girlfriend Cazzie David the same chain.

The Saturday Night Live cast member sounded off in the comments. “For your information that’s not just some girl,” Davidson replied in the comments. “That’s my fiancé. She’s the greatest person I know. I gave it to her because she has my heart and that is the most precious thing I own. My dad would be so happy and love her so much.”

He also set the record straight about his ex-girlfriend also having a pendant. “I had a bunch of replicas made,” Davidson commented back. “My sister and grandpa also have one. The one that Ari has is the one my dad actually died in and the one he wore his entire career and the one I’ve worn for over 17 years. I’ve actually never taken it off other than for SNL or work. So it means a lot to me.”

The number clearly means a lot to the couple so it would make sense.
