Happy birthday Mila Kunis! The Ukrainian-born American actress turns 35 today.

That ’70s Show (1998-2006)

Kunis’s first big role was as Jackie Burkhart in the massively popular That ’70s Show. Kunis auditioned for the role when she 14 even though the minimum age for those auditioning was 18 years old.

She met her future-husband Ashton Kutcher on the show and shared her first kiss with him when she was 15.

The show lasted for eight seasons and cemented Kunis as a household name.


Family Guy (1999-)

A year after she started That ’70s Show, Seth MacFarlane asked Kunis to audition for the role of Meg. Kunis plays the daughter of Peter and Lois.


Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)

Kunis’s first big break in the film industry was the Judd Apatow-produced film Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

The movie and Kunis’ performance, in particular, were praised, with critics saying, she was “adept with her performance and understands the concept of comic timing.”

Kunis credits Apatow as helping to expand her career after That ’70s Show.
