Vanderpump Rules is officially back! The Pump Rules gang, Stassi Schroeder, Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Kristen Doute, Scheana Shay, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy and Lala Kent, made their season seven debut last episode.
The main focus for episode one was Jax’s proposal to Brittany. Jax finally realized Brittany is his soulmate after he cheated on her, she made him jealous by sleeping with her ex and her being a decent person when his father died. That’s true love.
Jax proposed at a seafood shack on the side of the highway near the beach in Malibu. The place had everything a girl could want! Port-a-potties, beach trash and motorcycle guys and the smell of fish.
What’s also amazing about the first episode is that somehow Brittany’s southern Kentucky accent has gotten stronger since living in Los Angeles. Amazing.
We briefly met Stassi’s new boyfriend, Beau. The former mean girl finally found love and viewers had PTSD when they showed a flashback of her ex-boyfriend Patrick.
Tom and Tom are both working on the opening of their bar, which does eventually open up. James still has his same See You Next Tuesday gig and managed to bring up Jax cheating again, thus getting him uninvited from all of Jax’s events.
This episode will show the gang celebrating Jax and Brittany’s engagement.
