Taylor Swift‘s accused stalker was arrested early Thursday for allegedly breaking into her New York City apartment for a second time.
Her stalker, Roger Alvarado was arrested for allegedly breaking into Swift’s second-floor patio door to Swift’s TriBeCa apartment. According to Page Six, when cops arrived the door was open but it was unclear if Alvarado went inside.
Swift was not home at the time of the alleged break-in. The singer has an order of protection against Alvarado.
In April 2018, the Florida man broke into Swift’s same New York apartment. When cops arrived at Swift’s apartment they found a ladder going up a broken window. Cops found Alvarado sleeping in Swift’s bed and the man used her shower. Swift wasn’t home during the break-in.
Alvarado was initially charged with felony stalking, burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass. In February 2019, Alvarado was sentenced to six months in jail as part of his plea deal.
But now with a second break-in, who knows what will happen.
Swift recently just talked about how she fears for her life because of her stalkers. In her personal essay for Elle, she wrote how she always carries QuikClot bandage with her just in case of gunshot and stab wounds.
“I carry QuikClot army grade bandage dressing, which is for gunshot or stab wounds. Websites and tabloids have taken it upon themselves to post every home address I’ve ever had online. You get enough stalkers trying to break into your house and you kind of start prepping for bad things,” Swift wrote. “Every day I try to remind myself of the good in the world, the love I’ve witnessed and the faith I have in humanity. We have to live bravely in order to truly feel alive, and that means not being ruled by our greatest fears.”
This isn’t the only stalker Swift has. In April 2018 Swift had two other stalkers arrested and that same month one of her other stalkers was sentenced.
In April 2018 another stalker, Julius Alexander Sandrock was arrested for stalking Swift and trying to break into her Beverly Hills home. The man has a slew of suspicious things in his car when he was arrested.
That same month, Bruce Rowley was arrested for robbing a bank for Swift. After he robbed the bank he drove to Swift’ Rhode Island house and throw some money over her fence. He then got in a high-speed chase with the cops. When he was arrested he told police that he wanted to propose to Swift.
One of Swift’s stalkers, Frank Andrew Hoover, was sentenced to 10 years probation. In 2016 he was arrested for showing up to one of her shows after sending threatening emails to Swift’s dad. Swift had a protective order against him so he was arrested for violating the order which is a felony.
Hopefully Swift will get some peace of mind knowing one of her stalkers has been arrested.
