There’s a good chance that you’ve already watched Elf this Christmas season (and a really good chance you’ll be watching it again). Sure, we all love Will Ferrell in all his glory as Buddy the Elf, but have you ever wondered what his sidekick Michael has been up to IRL since the film was released 12 years old (I know – we’re old).
Daniel Tay was only 12 when he shot the movie, so he’s 24 now. Since he hit puberty, Tay has lost the chubby cheeks in favor of a chiseled jaw line. File this one under “child stars who Neville Longbottomed.”
Turns out Daniel Tay hasn’t really kept up in the acting game besides landing roles in Beer League and Brooklyn Rules and being the voice of 2009 video game Grand Theft Auto IV. But you think he’s really going to star in another instant holiday classic with the funniest man alive? Why not go out on top?
Check out photos of Michael from Elf all grown up below.
